While driving to work this morning along Pacific Coast Highway in Huntington Beach, CA, I witnessed a cyclist slip and fall. Unfortunately, he was significantly injured in this fall, and the Huntington Beach Fire Dept had to be called. While waiting for the EMS response, I was trying to find a way to contact someone for the cyclist. Fortunately, he was wearing a sport ID bracelet with emergency contact information, names and an address. It was a very simple bracelet, nothing more than a watch band, but the information it provided was vital at that point in time. After this incident, I cannot imagine running or cycling without something like this. I have included several sites that provide sport IDs. The first site link provides an engraved option, which this cyclist had. Be safe, and be prepared!

If your accident occurred due to a poorly maintained public road or some other factor, where negligence by another person can be proven, you should speak with a solicitor about making a bicycle crash compensation claim.

Never ride your bicycle without one. Not only they protect your head from bumps, but also supply warmth during winter and cover during the summer.http://www.outbackbikers.com/short-jersey-5
